The OpenScience Project was seeded with a generous donation from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. The interactive features of the site (Forums, comments, the daily weblog) were enabled with a private donation from Ed Richley.
The OpenScience project continues largely as a volunteer effort of the community. We do need to upgrade hardware from time to time and to pay our undergraduates enough to abandon other less fulfilling work-study positions. Donations are always appreciated and may be sent to:
